Riley Robinson was proudly raised on the west side of Detroit. She has earned her BFA in Graphic Design and BAA in Studio Art with a minor in Entrepreneurship from Central Michigan University in May 2025.

Specializing in realistic oil painting and printmaking, Riley uses her art to highlight the richness and depth of the Black community and culture. Her portraits serve as a mirror, challenging

viewers to see parts of their own stories within each piece and reflect on their own lived experiences, as well as others around them.

Her artwork has been exhibited at the Annual Juried CMU Student Art Exhibition at the University Art Gallery in 2022, 2023, 2024, & 2025; and The Experience Summer 2024 at the

Marygrove Conservancy. As well as Beyond The Surface 2025 at CMU.
